Creating Beautiful Floral Wreaths For Anzac Day

ANZAC Day is a day we, as a nation, commemorate all the men and women who have courageously fought for our country. Services are held across the day, starting at dawn, followed by other customs, such as the ANZAC Day March and a game of Two-Up, that pay homage to our soldiers.

While these are renowned rituals of remembrance, there are other traditions that Australians carry out proudly and respectfully, every year on the 25th of April.

One such tradition is special for us, as florists. The laying of a floral wreath is synonymous with ANZAC Day, as part of service proceedings. Flowers are our way of honouring those who have passed, so wreaths are laid in memory of our fallen diggers.

Knowing its significance, we exert a lot of care and consideration into our fresh floral wreaths. Our wreaths can be created using either native Australian flowers, bright and colourful florals, white and green blooms, or more traditional in style, with symbolic flowers including rosemary available upon request.

Our floral wreaths range in sizes, from petite, medium or large and can be trimmed with the violet ‘Lest We Forget’ satin ribbon, if required.

So for those needing to order a fresh floral wreath or flowers for this ANZAC Day, call or email our Chirn Park store on (07) 55 311 533 or [email protected]

Our dedicated team at Moss N Stone will then have your wreath ready for collection, or we can deliver to anywhere on the Gold Coast, if preferred.
